Welcome
Much has changed since Robba and I first ran for Congress in 1997. Not the least of which are our two girls. Then in elementary school, Kelsey is now in college and Alex is on the way. In our state and throughout the nation, the challenges we face are also much different today than in 1997. To address these challenges in an ever more complex global environment, our nation needs thoughtful, forward thinking leaders who bring common sense values to the public policy process.
Washington, D.C. is a far too partisan place. But I remain steadfast in my belief that we can still make a difference - that we can do more to enhance the way of life we enjoy in Kansas. Despite a full schedule in Washington, D.C. this year, I still return to Kansas each weekend. Not only does this allow me to keep in touch with the people who elected me to serve, it is also important to Robba and me that our girls grow up in our great state.
Please look around my site and let me know how I can better serve you now and into the future. I pledge to work with you and for you to see that good things continue to happen in this state we call home. Kansas.
